As a nurse practitioner, I hold medical professionals and product recommendations to high standards. Dr. Amy Dukoff performed a very challenging and complex root canal. Her post-op instruction package included Ibuprofen and a small container of cream. When the anesthesia wore off, I felt throbbing pain which was partially alleviated by the Ibuprofen. Still uncomfortable, I applied the cream and within 15 minutes the pain subsided. I used the combination which effectively relieved all pain and had minor soreness for the next day.
I am a person who likes to compare efficacy and tested this combination using Anbesol with the Ibuprofen. My pain persisted. I conclude that the Wizard’s Dental cream is a perfect adjunct for treatment for post operative pain and recommend highly.
